External speaker David Penny returns to our group, this time to talk about how to create Bonsai trees growing in the Literati style while passing on useful tips as only David can.

Come along and find out how to Air Layer a bonsai tree, thereby creating more trees for free. Also find out how to create a root over rock style bonsai tree. Bring your own materials and tools to work with.

Dave Smith from Southend Bonsai club will impart his years of experience growing bonsai trees as he provides advice on styling and general care. Bring along your own trees and tools.

This month is a members-only event. We will be visiting the private collection of Bonsai trees belonging to one of our members.

Join us and find out how to plant and grow a bonsai tree on a slab, and then have a go yourself. Bring your own tools and materials to work with. If you dont want to try slab planting then feel free to work on whichever trees you wish.
